thrifty thursday: wal-mart edition!

I know Wal-Mart doesn't always get the best rep, and it's certainly not Target, but sometimes it is the place to go for a good, thrifty deal!

I've been surprised to discover some really great trendy accessories and home decor items recently that are a great value!

1) Statement necklaces

There are seriously dozens to choose from starting at $5! Bubble necklaces, beaded necklaces, tassle necklaces, blingy statement necklaces .. you get the idea!

 I purchased this one to go with a new dress!

2) Infinity scarves

So many patterns, so few days to wear them! For $4.97 you actually get 2 light weight infinity scarves- one in a pattern and one in a color. For $6.97 you can have a thicker chevron pattern scarf. I've added 2 sets to  my collection so far!

3) Small chalkboards

These are super cute and run about $2 each! I am really loving the arrow! Might need this in our office ...

4) Burlap rolls .. with lace .. and in colors!

These are so great! And so much less then Micheal's! These would be great for weddings, craft, Christmas tree garland, and all kinds of other projects.
