Frugal Fall Fashion

Happy Sunday everyone! This weekend has been a perfect mix of down time and adventures! Yesterday afternoon/evening was spent at Stone Mountain (more on this another day) hiking and watching the laser show with my hubby's youth and today has involved church, a few stores, cleaning, and lesson planning!

Yesterday we also headed to Lowes and Home Depot because we are more than ready to move on with our bathroom project. We bought toilets, but we are having problems with vanity tops. We have found one, several really, we would be happy with and that are reasonably priced, but we want both bathrooms to be the same and our master bath is an odd size! It is 55 inches, which either means a custom piece or cutting down a 60 inch top! I was bit a frustrated .. I guess its back to the drawing board.

Anyway, today I wanted to share with you some frugal fashion finds for Fall. I don't necessarily consider myself a fashionable person, but I love to shop! Budget, budget, budget is the name of the game in our household, so I'm always on the lookout for good deals. I adore prowling through Goodwill, Value Village, and other thrift stores, but I have weakness for Target and Old Navy. So here are some of my Pinterest-inspired finds for cheap!

Tan sweater from Old Navy. For this deal, I shopped at Tanger Outlets with a 20% coupon and free $10  gift card, which brought my total to $9. I wanted this top in lots and lots of colors!  I imagine wearing this with my coral pants!

My white cropped pants from Old Navy. I was so excited I finally found a good deal on some! Confession- this is the 3rd pair I've bought, but the others are going back and these are staying! These were on clearance for $13 and I had coupon for 50% off 1 item, bringing my total total to $7. What was odd though was the sizing- these are are about 4 sizes bigger than I normally wear. My normal size looked like it would have fit a small child!

And last, a stripped cardigan from Target! I love sweaters, so this was a fun find on clearance for $5. 

I recommend visiting Target right now and checking out their clearance .. they had TONS! Lots of bathing suits too!

I'm still on the lookout for some other good deals this fall, such as mint skinny jeans, a black and white striped sweater, a black and white striped dress, a yellow cardigan, and a new purse I struggle to find pants that are the right length ... and I haven't seen any colored skinny jeans! Any advice on where I might find them? I'm know I'm not the only short girl!
