Greek Spaghetti

A couple of weeks ago I visited a yummy Greek restaurant and tried out a brand new dish .. Greek Spaghetti. My noodles were covered with olive oil and feta .. and it was so good that I decided that I wanted to make my own at home!

After searching for a recipe online, I couldn't find one that was just olive oil and feta, so I decided that I could try and make my own! I'm going to share my recipe, but I will warn you that my skills in the kitchen are limited and the amounts may need to adjusted to fit your individual tastes.

 Simple Greek Spaghetti

Ingredients
  • 1 box thin spaghetti noodles (I used whole wheat)
  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp garlic (or fresh garlic if you prefer)
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Small package of feta cheese
Directions
  • Cook pasta as directed
  • Toss pasta with olive oil and spices
  • Crumble a generous amount of feta on top of your noodles.
You might want to try it with fresh diced tomatoes as well! Serve with salad and garlic bread! The whole meal takes less than 20 minutes.  Enjoy! :)
