DIY Guest Bath Update Reveal!

Well ya'll, our guest bathroom has finally had a face lift! After months of talking about it and shopping around for the right materials in our budget, it is DONE. We even managed to use a few coupons!

We said goodbye to 2002 and hello to 2012. You will have to excuse the poor quality of the photos- the lighting is terrible and the space is small.

When we updated our kitchen cabinets over the summer we had gone ahead and refinished the vanity using Rust-Oleum's Cabinet Transformations. Previously the cabinet was just white. So, last Friday my hubby started tearing out the mirror, toilet, and counter top. Saturday we painted (Old Gacho from Wal-Mart if you're wondering). We just kept the same color that is in other parts of our house for uniformity.

And then we encountered a few issues. We had a broken toilet flange, a wall that wasn't square, drains that weren't lining up, and some problems making things centered. A dozen trips to Lowes and after googling some How To videos, Justin repaired and installed a new toilet, new counter top, and new mirror.

But now it is done! Much thanks to that handy husband of mine!

Check out some before pictures:
